Hi Guys,
i stopped off at Horam village green / hall today and had a walk round there field. field is quite flat and longest area is a good 260m i estimate with safe casting potential for practicing.
Usual dogwalkers evident and there is also footy matches there but i reckon early morning or poor weather you will be able to cast, also on the other side i noticed another field which looks possible as well.
I will get up there and have a measure and cast and will let you know if i get too much grief.
Steve.

I found the 15th fairway at Seaford Head a good spot, got the yardages in my book and nice and flat, but strictly a VERY EARLY MORNING venue as the greenkeepers start work early and for some reason or another they get the hump!!!!!

Hi Steve
Is the green on the left just before the village as you drive from the bowship?
yes mate - its bigger than it looks from the road.

U can get the size of the field using google earth mate, using the ruler option.

In that case Steve I think it's part of Horam Manor that also includes a coarse fishery so it would only be possible to use "out of hours" so to speak
