Cracking fish m8 going to have trip up amble one weekend as it's only up the road, fished with couple young lads from up there 3weeks ago at smiths dock on Tyne canny kids.

·cracking fish from one of the best cod areas in the country. it never fails to amaze me that so many north east lads drive right by on the way up here to fish a stretch about a quarter of that of seahouses to tynemouth. marks for every conditions including flat calm and shelter in the biggest of seas.
i just wish it was a bit closer ,i would do a fair bit winter fishing down there if it was.scenery every bit as good as up here too.
