Fished Admiralty Pier on Sunday 2 May. Started 3pm, high around 5.30 and packed up at 7.30 fished on the very first marks of the pier.

The first couple of hours leading up to high tide were good. Got a couple of Dab on one cast and a doggie of the next cast. Plenty of bites, after high tide nothing.

A few mackie showing, but it is just a few, a guy up from me caught one mackie and a smelt.

Very impressed with pier, will probably do an all nighter this weekend.

The dabs were caught on a lug/rag combo and a peeler/sqid combo

The doggie on peeler/sqid combo

I have heard quite a few smoothies caught over the weekend so going to give that a go

Right catch report for Friday night, a good night I thought. No smoothies but had 4 dogs (the aquatic type, not the female variety) and 5 pouting. My mate caught a few pouting and a ling. High water and strong tide
