Hi All,

I have a son living in Mount Nugent, Co Cavan, who I'm off to see quite soon and I know the place is over run with lakes and Loch's, which are the best to fish, what baits, what fish, also do I require a rod license for Eire? or do they opporate a day ticket scheme.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

No licenses, no tickets.

www.cfb.ie for coarse byelaws.

Bring yer gear and away you go.
Earthworms, casters, boilies, all the usual stuff for coarse, all the carp here has been stocked for the likes of you lads so it's all very much geared around UK coarse styles, you'll be right at home.
