Hi was just wondering if any one could point me in the rough direction of some winter species....looking for a few fish rather than a big fish just to get the rods out....
Any advice would be appreciated

Depending on the conditions!!!!!!! (stay safe)! caerhayes MAY chuck up some coalies next few weeks, have also had whiting off portholland.

Hello mate. I will be in Roseland for a week over new year and also a week in June. Probably a week later in the year too. This is going to be my first visit in winter, so I don't really know what I'm doing, but happy to meet up - more rods in the water = more chance of a fish! I'm gonna try the Fal, I expect to get whiting, with maybe an outside chance of a cod :roflmao:. I'll post up some reports when I do get down.

It's worth watching Cornish shore and kayak angler (Roseland) and the fish locker (Falmouth) on YouTube.
