The BBC info is from UKHO..... i.e. Easytide.

"UKHO is a government agency, responsible for compiling and publishing the navigational information which mariners require for accurate, safe and efficient navigation at sea. Its principal customer is the Royal Navy, for whom it provides a range of hydrographic, oceanographic and geophysical products and services."

If it is accurate enough for the RN it is for you....surely !

The figures are PREDICTIONS, translated as best informed guesses given all the factors. they cannot be guarranteed to be 100% accurate..... and do not need to be.
