Me and my mate fishing the east arm at brighton, we fished a couple of hours before high tide and up and a hour after. I didn't catch a thing and my mate only had a tiny pout, speaking to the warden this morning and he there hasn't been much caught at all, I'd try seaford if I was you.
the east has been doing well to be honest . sole , plaice in numbers , dab , flounder , gurnards , a few mullet still about & schoolies . Add to this loads of pout & channel whiting , eels & thornbacks in coloured water still some wrasse coming out for good measure.
Today mostly pout & channel whiting but also a nice 5lb ish codling that I will upload to the shop site later for Mr Jury
