Had a sesh with birdneststew and Pete today but it was very quiet with only the 2 fish between us.
I caught a strap conger and Pete caught a decent sized codling. Bait was lug/rag fish strip and mussel/razor..

Had a great time and the BBQ was a winner..

BBQ was a great idea and something I'll be taking in future.

First blank I've had for a while despite wearing my luck pants but regardless I had a great day. The conger was quite impressive as I hadn't seen one before, didn't realise they were so bitey!

Didn't notice you taking a picture whilst I was burning my sausage on the hot coals, cheeky!

Pete only fell 3 times too so a good time was had by all.

Great stuff those disposable bbq`s i went and got a wee bbq from argos and its the dogs danglies.
Caught some mackies and as the bbq was still fired up we ate them seriously fresh from caught to consumed in 10 mins

looks like there was still a fair bit colour in the water mate ,can be the kiss of death in the summer up there.nice wee conger though mate ,pretty tasty on the barbie i would imagine !
