Hi,

Going to Ardmore to fish the sandy bay this Sunday. High tide is around 12 noon. Good chance of flatties , thornies?? (saw one caught few years back) and mibbee sea trout. Anyone fancy it?? Travelling from Glasgow west end. Not fished for long time but you never know!

Have seen it fished a few times over LW, but never over HW? If Fishing HW, you'll be in 2 feet of water even if you can cast a quarter of a mile in the sandy bay.

Try it if you want mate but it's pants, and you won't catch thornies there

If you try further round the bay towards Ardmore point you might still catch some flatties but to be honest it's a waste of time
