This week we fancied a little trip out to sea . More and more kayakers are joining in on our weekly trips enjoying the great outdoor safely . At low tide it was a fair trek reaching the water .

The wind was moderate and the sea lumpy we paddled .

It was like roller coaster at times .

Fishing was really tough and we had to stay upright . Young Josh did well .

We then took it easy looking for new species . Ballan wrasse are just beautiful .

The reel screamed a bit . Fishing light is fun .

We paddled 8 km at least . And pretty much enjoyed the rough condition .
Today was ardrossan and the Clyde estuary is still alive . Kayak fishing rocks . Tight lines all . Nico

Looks like quite a lumpy session there.
Some nice fish so you were well rewarded.
If you get a big ballan from the breakwater with a white leadhead in it's mouth, don't tell Willie (neptunes):)
