I had a couple of flounder from Loughor last week and they didn't taste too good.

IMNO they never taste to good from that far up the estuary and I never keep any from there , not that I fish there very much these days but the ones from Cefn Sidan always taste fine , but again I have had only one keeper from there all year and I put that back :rolleyes:
Just wish the scientists would carry out some research in to the flounder stocks in the Burry Inlet , my guess is they won't find many :mad: Thanks to the netting that has been going on unregulated for years . I also think the huge increase in bass numbers due to the nursery has lead to a reduction in the flounder numbers as there is only a finite amount of natural food for both species and as bass is far more valuable in a commercial world the humble flounder will continue to suffer.
