Now I understand why people are heading away from the miserable weather . Four hours away there is a place called Tenerife and this time was just about right to get away from all and treat ourselves . I made the 3 piece 5 to 20gr spinning rod fit in the case , 2 small reels and a box of soft lure and mini hooks we went . And took the gopro to save the adventure :
Each and everyday I would do the 5 mn walk to the rock , the pristine clear sea and the sun shining overhead not to mention the warmth .
I got the drop shot gear ready , some uncooked frozen king prawns for bait and the mini hooks .

I managed to spot some strange creatures lurking around and thought why not . I set the spikey shad on a 5 gr jighead and this long creature was clearly chasing . Here comes a trumpet fish !

And then tried the isome pink . Right under my slippery feet .

Few days later and a full suntan I hooked a prawn onto the jighead , cast and my little rod straighten to another species . ( 8 in tenerife ) and 50 overall this 2018 . Here comes a bream .
