We had an aweful start to the flounder season so far, several trips and very little to show for it from 4 different rivers!

Back to basics today, Lilly was at the Saltram Christmas happenings so Jack, Mattie, and I went to use up the left over bait from the weekend. Back we went to our usual starting mark for the season and thank goodness we did!

I was armed with lrf gear and my Bluezone telepower, jack with his winnings from previous comps and Mattie with bass rods. Rigs put together with superb stuff from Bluezone.

It was steady action for the couple hours we were there, with lots of double hookups, great fun on ultra light gear!

Mattie's best 1-14, my best 1-10, Jack's best 1-13. Awesome time out with the boys

Matty sporting his gear from his sponsor Plymouth Angling Centre

I wish you had Tommo! I have rung them on more than one occasion, and will always do so if I think something dodgy is going on! They are more than happy to receive any info, even if it is wrong and nothing illegal is "occurring!"
