Hi just need to or a link to help me with a lugworm squid cocktail or crab lugworm etc on a pennel pulley rig any advice would be great

For big cod baits I normally shove 2 lug. Half a large fresh black followed by another 2lug up the hook then pull down into a sausaage then tip with a sliver of the dirtiest squid you can find ,whip together with bait elastic but make sure the hook tip is exposed. Wrap the top hook round the snood a couple times then nick in the top of the bait.

Cod will eat pretty much anything no matter how its presented or cocktailed... firm favourites are black lug and squid mussel and lug and lug and crab, some days a single black is enough for them others, only the biggest smelliest of baits will do... experiment, have a play and make notes on catches etc =] also looking in a caught cods guts will soon tell you what is in the food stream at that time =]

Depends where your fishing as some baits will do better than others i always make sure ive got crab where ever i go
