Hi, I'm driving down to Cornwall this summer (early July) and I'm staying on a site near Helston.

I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a local, reliable, bait supplier. I'll be looking or the usual Squid, Bluey, Lug, Rag and Sandeel baits.

As I'm staying on a campsite, refrigeration facilities will be minimal, so I'll be mainly relying on a cool box to keep things fresh. Due to this I'll be looking to buy a substantial amount (enough for a two week trip), but in small quantities.

Recommendations would be appreciated.

Phil.

As I remember from your previous post, you're going to be at or near Porthleven.
Not far from there is Newtown Angling -- right on the A394, up above Praa Sands. Tele is 01736 763721.
Chris has good bait and local information.
Good trip.

I will have plenty of bait to keep you fishing you are also welcome to use my freezer to freeze your cool packs and to freeze any fish you want to take home
I think that you're under the misapprehension that I'm going to catch :laugh::laugh:

Thanks for generous offer of using your facilities though and I'm sure I'll take you up on it.
I'll get in touch, nearer the time, regarding bait supplies.

Oh, and while I have your attention, I don't suppose you could suggest anywhere in the locality that hires out SOT Kayaks?

Once again, Thanks.
