thread the whole worm on. anything left dangling will only snap off on the cast.

if tipping off other baits thread half a worm or a whole small one.

the best way i find is using a baiting needle remove the hard mouth of the worm thread on baiting needle and then apply to the hook

put the hook in just under the tongue and out when the hook gets just past half way down the worm. leave lots of tail for movement. personally i find them best for short/ medium range fishing. best used singularly as tip bait i find.

the small ones are great fished as a munch, similar to maddies.

the bigger ones could be used in halves and the whole half (if that makes sense) threaded on as a tip. one yellowtail and a section of white can be a devastating codling bait.
