put the hook in just under the tongue and out when the hook gets just past half way down the worm. leave lots of tail for movement. personally i find them best for short/ medium range fishing. best used singularly as tip bait i find.
the small ones are great fished as a munch, similar to maddies.
the bigger ones could be used in halves and the whole half (if that makes sense) threaded on as a tip. one yellowtail and a section of white can be a devastating codling bait.
