Hey Steve - was there too - loveley day wasnt it.............. couldnt catch any shrimp though

It was strange that we could only get shrimp on the cod's head not mackeral or whiting!

i had a net out for 2 days in a row - only had ond hardback crab - very strange as in the past ive always had a couple of shrimp and crab every drop (mind the freshwater was flowing pretty much non stop) - didnt seem to matter which side i dropped on. General opinion seemed to be its too early for shrimp
