Welcome to the forum Dai

Aint been there yet but this time last year Friars point to the left of the island was fishing ok.......plenty doggies, some baby tope, the odd ray and the odd run of smoothies plus pouting and the odd schoolie bass.

you could Nells Point to the left of the beach(the point where Butlins used to be).
it is fishing really well at low water, with nice Bass, whiting and flatties all being caught, also some great rockpools near by for hermits and prawns, which are killer bait for the Bass.
all the best mate happy fishing. :)
