managed to get out this weekend on saturday and sunday.
fished off a mark on saturday loaded with rag and squid and mackerel.
fished two hours before high and an hour after. we managed to land a couple of small bull huss and a few small pollock but nothing really that exciting. just as the tide reached high pugso had the biggest knock on his rod i have ever seen we thoght here we go nice big hound, only to see a seagull nose dive into the water almost taking pugso with it. L:roll1:

had a couple of hours at the low tide on sunday spinning, which resulted in a lovely bass and i also lost 1 lifting him out of the water. (need to invest in a net).

here are some pics

Well done mate, the same thing happened to me while chasing the hounds only it was a cormorant that swam into my line, I didn’t think the ratchet on my 525 could scream so high pitched and i managed to step in a rockpool up to my knee while runing to the rod!. Lol!
