Sounds like a good evenings fishing. As a newcomer to the sport can you tell me where Dunnet Bay is? I will generally fish the south of Fife and the Forth but would go further a field for a good days fishing!

Hi Blenny,

Dunnet Bay is a few miles east of Scrabster, in the far north of Scotland ( any further north and you will be in the north sea )... It's renowned for bass and flatties.

I'm quite new to sea fishing aswell, here's hoping the rest of the season is as good as lastnight :)

Tight lines Blenny.....

And to you.

I might head North later on in the summer for a weeks fishing/travelling. Will keep the bay in mind.

Keep those bass coming.

In March I will be moving to dunnet bay for seven months, and as im,e
mad about sea fishing and have my own boat I would appreciate any
advice regarding marks around dunnet bay and scrabster. I understand
from the guy Im,e taking over from that the fishing is very good even
from the beach so any tips will be greatly received.
