I caught a lovely 8lb bass on a live joey on friday last off Dover. This weekend 8th/9th/10th see's the annual Herne Bay bass competition. Icom, the marine radio specialists have put up £10,000 for any Bass over 20lb caught during the festival. As there was a 17.8lb fish caught at this time of year last year there has to be a good chance of the British record falling soon (also held by a Herne Bay fish).....
