Has anyone got any tips on how to fish the viewing point next to the round tower in Old Portsmouth........... the one with all of the benches. Seen lots of bass there but whenever I go I snag up and snap all my tackle!! Am I casting to far.....not far enough????? Any help much appreciated!!

Hi, ive heard that it can be quite good spinning from the rocks inbetween the round tower and the spot were the benches are, night and day.
Like yourself have encounted many a snag when bait fishing there. A quick retrieval may encounter less snags, also try it on a lower tide so the pull is not so bad.
