Hi

How far up the West coast do the bass go?
I camped at Sandwood Bay, near Cape Wrath, a couple of years ago. It has wonderful surf and would appear to be perfect for bass if further South.
Does anyone know if bass get that far north? Has anyone ever fished it? I was thinking of trying spinners in the surf.

I was catching bass at Scourie Bay, not that far away, last summer. Was actually spinning for mackeral but "accidentally" caught a couple of bass about the 2lb mark.
