Well had my last trip today, on gangu beach 1km from Senegal a long sandy beach first cast was into the fish which locally are called sun pats (white snapper) these were about 3.5-4lb and put up a scrap in the sh loallows like a bass, then on the last cast of the day I had a sting ray of about 5lb wich on release back to the sea stung a young local boy trying to pull it back out for his dinner, but he didn't seemed worried about the cut to his had. So for 4 days fishing I had 10 different species, beats standing on a cold beach in England bashing pin whiting and lings anyday, roll on the bass!
