Off to Gambia on Friday, all prepared, rigs tied, reels oiled, rods checked etc. All going to plan so started to pack rods into what I thought was my trusty Basuka Tube Pro. It was then I noticed that the plastic had broken virtually all the way around the circumference of the extendable bit of the tube just below the hinged door:sad2:

Looking at the plastic at this point its very thin and an obvious weak point. If you have this tube check it at this point. Leaving home in 24 hours driving south for an overnight then straight to Gatwick. Nowhere local to buy replacement and did not want to chance picking up one on route so out with the fibre glass and laid matting inside and out. Hopefully this will do the trick:thumbs:
