Hi Dave,

Unlucky m8, come close a couple of times myself but never actually done it. Take a look under the 'Century 205' thread on the Tackle Forum. This is a good rod for heavy lead work and I think someone was offering one, or a similar model, at a good price on the thread.

Try Firefly. Not bad carbon blank, lot of rod for around £50 ish on Ebay.

hi again all,
just top let you all know , i now have a shakespear longbeach.
done a deal at exeter angling supplies, not the best rod in world, but im not the best fisherman either lol
