Fished monkey tump near bendrick, from high water to low.

Not a sausage.

Very difficult fishing, wind was straight im face, couldnt keep line tight, kept bowing and tip would flop.

Am I doing summit wrong?, was using plain leads, only a small tide.

I fished that rock you were on about.

I was casting from the rocks with the dark patches(tar?) to the left toward sully, rather than toward bendrick.

As the tide dropped I climbed down and fished with the rock itself providing cover.

I lost very little, a few leads, but surely grips will make it even worse?

Directly up behind me was a big flat ledge a fella was fishing off when the water was up a bit, he lost stacks of tackle, he had one rockling, pretty fish they are.

grips will make it worse if you are casting into the rough stuff, but as i said if you can pass the rough, then you on clear ground, and you wont get that bow inyour line........
