Got these Berkleys Pliers delivered today, and am wondering what the different grip features are actually for, they must have a dedicated function for fishing?

the notches look like line holders on the edge there , if ur lucky u might have a crimp fastener among the others , im guessing

Thanks, other than the crimp tool which I was very happy to have for rig making, still not sure on what the "operation Split ring" part is, and what them slits are on the back of pliers? I see lots of things that have grooves, and shapes put into their design, and think most people dont question what they are actually for.

Call me tight, but where tools a re concerned, i try to avoid anything with "fishing" in the title. Normally find they are overpriced and not as good as regular tools. This is only my opinion!!! I do the same with dog toys!! minute they put pet on there they double in price and are generally cr-p
