Got down there for first light this morning, great fishing for an hour or so then it just went dead. I had a couple wrasse, including a nice size one on the lrf gear. It took some line while playing it which made it even better

Not sure what the other species are if someone could let me know that would be great.

I'm from the Exeter area, does anyone know of some spots to try dropshotting?
Thanks

You can cast from beachs and rocks with a drop shot, at Berryhead i tend to drop it straight down or a small flick out. Not done much beach fishing with the light stuff but it can work well, i cast a dropshot on the breakwater and have good results

if you can try a 60yd cast off the left hand end of the quay and let it drift around on the tide. i found dabs there years ago to live rag. same sort of cast with crab static on bottom from right hand corner is where i found some small codling in september. all years ago though, have no idea of whats about at moment.
