hi all
tryed to fish bexhill yesterday but i managed to pick the wrong beach wich had massive lumps of clay on the bed and i kept gettin snagged i had a small rockling on the hook but these little kids were trying to get it off before i could get down to the fish so i gave up as lots of people were fishing
oh well there is always next season

Hi Ed,

I live and fish occasionally in Bexhill and you are right about needing to pick the right parts of the beach, probably best to visit at low tide to find a clear area of beach. I take it you left because of the large number of people sun bathing, not fishing. During the Summer, Bexhill beach is very busy, and unless its raining, I only ever fish either very early morning, or late evening/night.

hello ed - sorry i missed you on sat - went to pevensey instead - if you want to know more about bexhill beach meet me down there some time and i ll show you some good marks - it ll have to be after 4th of may as im off to spain till then - i ll pm you when im back -things seem to be getting better here as i went with specialistsea last night and between us we had 2 nice eels , a pout and a couple of ling - im off again tonight for a couple of hours over high tide will let you know how i get on - cheers - bdb

cheers guys i got pretty anoyed abpout all the people there and the clay banks hope u have a nice time in spain bdb and good luck 2night i got about 30 worms and only used 4 on sat so got a load of dem in da freeza (mums very happy!!!!HAHAHA)
