as posted before, went out on my friends pristine boat today, drifted down along the coast of herne bay, reculver and minnis bay. very slow day but a personal best for me and a species to the list. i had two dogs, but a thornie of 4 and a half LB (my first ever) and a hound of approx 2 and half 3 (did not weigh it) LB that made my day. the skipper had 1 codling hahahahah. sea was like glass and the weather was out of this world. saw lots of seals and lots of spalshes in the water ( i think they where gar fish)

will post pics when i know how :)

Glad you had a nice day and caught a few fish govrnor but try dropping the hook next time for the Roker as they are lazy %uckers and cannot be bothered to chase a bait. You will catch plenty more at anchor.
