hi, looking at getting my first boat/yacht this week but not to sure about mooring in cardiff area, contacted penarth marina and they quoted me £1743 per yer , then went to the Barry yacht club and if im right the price looked more like £200 per yer, does anyone know if this is about right? has anyone any suggestions about mooring? is Barry Yacht club available? any advice on anything would be greatfull:g:

off now to portishead to look at a 23ft yacht and cardiff bay to look at another:g:

the price might be right BUT you will probably find you HAVE to join the club before you are egible for the mooring,another added cost

There are two clubs in cardiff bay with moorings available, Cardiff Yacht Club and Cardiff Bay yacht club, both are within the bay and are a dam site cheaper than the marina. details can be found on the harbour authority web site for contacts etc.
