Hi,
I understand there is some boats that take you out to sea for a day, and you can hire equipment and what not from them, I think all you need to take is the bait.
I think this might be ideal for me, as i've never done sea fishing before and it would give a taster of what its like.
Please could someone recommend and give some info on these trips around the cardiff area.

IF YOU CONTACT some of the tackle shops, they are the best people to advise you on boats m8?ely angling 02920 555133. or anglers supplies who have their own boat, the kobe 02920 220723. gary evans 02920 692968. hope this helps?

Yup i'm planning on going with a mate who's been sea fishing many times, but never in the cardiff area

I went the other week out on a charter boat for the first time.
The skipper was:

Steve Jones

01446 736735

0976 444569

The boat NIK-I-LOU, a catamaran. Give him a call. Very helpful chap. He can lend you rod and reel for £6.
Don't tell him you heard obout him from me as, I vomited all over his boat!
Good luck! Take your motion sikness pills just for in case :)))

Do you know if and what the charge is to go on the boat?
What area is the boat?penarth?
Do I only need to take the bait?

Yes, the boat is moored is in the Penarth marina.
The charge was £30 for an 8 hrs trip. You need only bait. Steve will explain the details.
