hi does anybody know where i can get my hands on one of these headlight and ur views on them thanx
yes it is an awesome light but comes with the price of humping a large battery around your back very heavy

for top quality light with no weight yet powerfull lamp is the fox halo ht85 i thought it was going to be rubbish but i was proven wrong and iam an electrician

use rechargable batts or a small conversion kit that plugs in when you finish fishing

lasts up to 70 hours and i have tested it.

price 26.00 quid

I've got a Radman, nice headlamp. Went to his house something was wrong. I phoned him up, called at his house on a Saturday Afternoon. Sorted it out there and then. Needed a new charger 15 quid.
Lives in Whitchchurch, Cardiff. Foreshore Fisherman uses it more than me. Loves it. Think there going for 120 quids. Best of luck..Ragworm

i have the tiga sl85 and the halo 85 i must say that i use the halo more than my tiga now so really my tiga is a backup hahaha and for the price of £26.00 you won`t go wrong either i think the days of the tiga, samalite and radman are defo numbered the leds that are now in production far out weigh the heavy lead acid or nimh batteries for lightness, brightness and longevity tight`uns

hi andy i`d like to,,fish the cefn at night that is,,, the halo out shines my tiga and lasts a few sessions longer whereas my tiga usually dies around 6hrs into a sesh from a full charge and using 6amp bulbs, the halo runs on 3 aa`s which is nowt to the weight of a rucksack and the beam is around 20mtr`s and floods anything in the path of the beam with blue light i bet you`de be able to go off the beach blindfolded bud believe me they`ve come a long way there is the princeton tec 145 i think but that does drain the batteries quicker and i think is no more powerful than the halo obviously i ain`t going to get rid of the tiga but on long hikes the halo is a godsend mucca try it and i bet you`ll do the same as me bud tight`uns

as to the point of a light if i was to fish next to you andy i would be blinded by your headlight and wont be able too see anything for 5 mins.

and really whats the point the fox halo give adequate light around you and at distance with the lightest headset i have ever used i have a nightsearcher as backup but i love my halo and if you buy the small conversion kit it will last over 100 hrs continuos use, what more can you want

your headlight is the mutts nutts but in fairness it is heavy and cables and the lamp is huge. so try the halo i reckon you will love it.
