does anybody know how this fishes ? thinking of giving it a go over low water at night. if anybody has fished it how quick does tide come in ?? i may be going alone. also im desperate to target hound this summer. i understand that minnis is bestr place around, again over low water, any advice would be fantastic. cheers

Its a good place for Bass, dont know about Hounds.
Fish the gulleys as the tide comes in, crab is the best bait Velvet /Punger even better.

Watch out for holes in the rocks, fell in one a while back came up to my waist, lucky not to break a leg.
Big hole .......if measured by the size of my Gut!!!!!!!!!!!

Ask the ? to some of the guys on here and they may help out.

there's better marks than botany mate. joss bay down the road uaually fishes better. you can either fish the sand beach (close to the rocks) or on the rocks them selves. as said earlier look out for the gullies and slippery rocks.

as for the hounds you need to fish minnis. either low water on the rocks or high water between the beach huts and cold harbour.
