Just bought a reel off e-bay that is already loaded with braid will standard mono knots be OK for attaching terminal tackle or do I need to learn some new ones?

I was about to post a similiar question. I bought a reel of braid recently and it had a picture of a "clinch knot" for attaching hooks. my question is the same.

Hi fellas'
I have never used braid in the sea as yet but when carp fishing I have found that braid tends to need more turns of the line than mono.
Give this link a try: www.claphamangling.co.uk/knots.htm

Hi Folks,

Double the end back on itself, about 6" and tie a double grinner knot using 6 - 8 turns.

Cheers
