Me and robster continued our quest to find our first early sole.
The evening was beautiful with a light w/nw breeze and endless sun.
No bites came during light or dusk but there was still plenty of tide (h/w 11:05) so we were not that fazed.
After a very slow start robster had a respectable plaice of 12 inches nice and plump. Then he had one of around six bass all near 16 inches two of witch were a good plate size.
Me.......i had a small pollack and about 7/8 pout.
The fish seemed to all come on the feed on the slacker water of around high tide and the first hour of the ebb.

Nice to see you are catching and what a gorgeous sunset over Hurst.
Sure was mate. Many times the camera has come out when fishing there.

where abouts is brambles, is it in the same bay as collwell as i fished to the left at collwell bay last night and it wasnt very productive (stayed till 3.45 as well, baits used, fresh rag, sand eel, mak,squid ) didnt no if it was the same place or not as you seem to do very well brambles

Yes. We fish right along the end by the broken up wall. Best on building tides.
