2 of us had a quick trip last nite.. did 1hr either side of high water.. armed with 50 fresh lug.. a carp rod each.. casting no more than 20yd out... water clear...
there was a bite just about every cast.. had 11 bass out... with 5 in the 2lb plus area... loads of missed bites...
great fun on the light gear...

Superb! I thought Brancaster was a no-no due to there not being much depth, like Hunstanton. What about Holkham beach? I was there hiking a few weeks ago and thought it looked superb, with those small channels that bass like to forage in.

Good catch LB, it seems a slight change of tactics and venue is what's needed.

hunstanton produced some bass to lures etc last weds & thurs evening.... i got a pm on brancaster a few days back.. can,t wait to try a lure or two.. but to dark last nite..
it was,nt shallow where i fished and any body who knows the beach can work it out....
lots of weed in the tide but as soon as it easied it was alive with fish..

nice one bob, some beaches are so shallow you would think no way it will fish, at times we must think out of the box, well done....si
