Does anyone know if its possible to catch bream or trigger fish from the shore in hte plymouth area? any ideas on tackle and locaitons would be great!

Icaught a couple of Triggers a year or two ago. One was in Hopes Nose
/Torquay and the other was at Rame Head.
Both took floated rag/lug cocktail. Could see them swimming around at the base of the rocks and i dangled a bit of bait in front of them.
Quite a good fight on light tackle.

yes you can catch them from white patch in july august on the float with lug worm well worth a go caught quite a few there but one hell of a walk fella go light

White patch is a small rock outcrop on the eastern side of Plymouth sound, about a mile inside Fort Bovisand. You need to head towards Jennycliff, go past the beach cafe, up the windy road, and you'll see a carpark big enough for 2 cars on the left, right on the bend. The path is right opposite you.
Follow the path for 200 yards, and you cant miss the mark - it's full of PCs (Plymouth C***s)
