Fished with "Underground Dave" on Brid Harbour on Friday night, nice rough sea and we weren't disapointed as far as the fishing was concerned, plenty of nice whiting over a pound and a handful of dabs. (all returned.)

Left brid about midnight to try the Humber wall in search of some codling. got to bay 27 in the early hours of Saturday. Managed a small codling each but nothing else showed.

We returned to the wall on Saturday evening, this time to Bay 19. This was a bit more productive: about an hour before top of tide I managed a decent codling of 4lb, taken on a black lug/rag cocktail.
Missed a good bite on the next cast, and had a small codling on the last cast. Some anglers in the next bay had a sizeable codling and some smaller ones.
