Fished of the East arm saturday night after a bass or two. Struggle to catch any livebait but got pestered by tiny thornback and managed a few small bass on worm.
Had a few violent hits on mackeral heads , but no hook-up , just don't know how they avoid that trebble hook. Hooked something half decent on a mackie fillet but this managed to find a snag and I had to pull for a break:sad:
Tried to get the trolley back down the marina path in the morning to find a couple of families blocking the way with two large tents (resting mackeral anglers I suspect). A couple of the guys attempted to drag the tents out the way whilst numerous persons were still asleep inside! It was then off the MCd's for brekkie followed 20 minutes later by two tent owning families.
