Me and the dad decided to head to elie lighthouse today armed with frozen lug,squid,macky,peeler and sandeel.
We fished from about 15:20-18:20-(You do the maths )
My dad was fishing with a 2 hook paternoster,5oz gripper lead from 18lb mainline from his 13ft shakespear contender
I was fishing with my 12ft Abu Garcia Enticer,3 Boom Paternoster,20lb Mainline,5oz gripper.
My Dad on his first Cast Landed a flounder.
Then from then on it was non stop fishing.By the end i'd landed 4 coaly.My dad landed 3 coaly and a flounder so all in all it was a tremendous day fishing.8 Fish in total all caught on Frozen Macky bar one which was caught on a sandeel and macky cocktail

What sort of size were the fish mtm?
If you dont mind me asking mate...

is it clean ground or snaggy , ive fished the rocks next to harbour and lost every rig

Flounder was about the size of my mouse mat.
One of the coaly was tiny and the other 6 were all about 1lb.
The ground is 80% clear at the lighthouse but find the 20% snaggy areas (the kelp beds) and cast just to the edge of them and you'll get loadsa fish.
Coaly and flounder will get caught over the clean sand aswell though.
