Something eats them, surely? I know, bit of a challenge threading one of them up a hook, lol. But anyone ever catch anything on them? Sometimes washed up in their hundreds/thousands during a storm. I like using bait that's already being washed up i.e. dead or sure to be picked off by the gulls so I take a lot of clams etc. and the brittlestars are found stranded in the same areas. Wondering if it's worth crunching a few of these brittlestars up with my other baits..?

Indeed it is! Washed up dead/dying bait is already my favourite for a couple of reasons but it is hard to tell whether success/failure is due to the "new" bait as there's so many variables. Now though, I will definitely try these out next time I find a puddle full of them. :) Thanks OCTOSPUD :clap3:
