Went down to my local beach for a couple of hours,
Arrived to find a light breeze and a couple of small breakers rolling in,
Baited up my usual 2up/1down wessex rig, With just blowlug !,
Walked in towards the first breaker, and with a gentle lob cast the rig into the second wave, As the flood tide had started to push up the beach,
And as i was starting to bait up a second rig, notice a couple of good flounder tugs on the rod tip,and then a slack line,
Carried on baiting the second rig, And then as i wound and felt the weight of a good average flounder, he came off !!!.
Cursing myself then " should have wound him in straight away !"
As the tide pushed on the small coalies moved in, picking up double shots most casts,
But did manage a 3 bearded rockling, and my first schoolie of 2012, to add to the species list, Then this DOUBLE SIDED FLOUNDER,
check him out !!!,
Craig
