Had a few worm left over from the comp at Pendine yesterday,
And being out done by my mate, SPAWNEY STEVE, who had caught the biggest fish between us , Resulting in myself having to buy the Guinness,
I suggested another match for a few hours to use up the worm at the above,
On arrival the sun was shinning brightly, and some nice surf tables were running up the beach, Although the water was a bit to clear for me !,
1/2 an hour in and i was two schoolies down
and could see my pockets getting lighter again !!!,
Then as the surf really started to surge up the beach, and the water retreated i noticed a few unmistakeable twirls in the shallows,
And out came the fluorocarbon rigs, and maddies, And within 5 mins the rod tip sprang down resulting in a G.G. around 2 lb,
Fair play to steve he fought back with a couple of small flounder,
but the Guinness was in the bag :drunk::drunk::drunk:
p.s. all fish were returned for another day,
TIGHTLINES CRAIG
