hello all how is the lower light house fishing in burham or the sea wall any info would be welcome tight lines

Fished the lite on the last lot of neaps and had just 1 small strap to show for 5 hours in the rain. Not too sure on the sea wall but would expect it to be the same. I try to avoid the wall at this time of year as too many grockles and I sort of loss the will to live after the 45th "caught ought mate" so prefer to sit on my own in the mud of the light. You still get the odd grockle but after wading 20 yards through mud and messing up their 100 quid trainers they turn around and leave you alone.......

He,he,he. Know what you mean. Fishing the wall does mean you've got the chance of hooking into a greater mud stranded grockle though! They don't fight well (unless they've been on the lager) but they can be a bugger to land if the shell suit catches the current!

Richie, only really fish it in winter so can't really help but I'd guess it's like Sgt Rock says, straps and odd schooly.
