first blog so hope this works, just getting back into fishing after many years. ended up with a good result from burnham last Sunday after a tough night, got there at 6.30pm looking to fish till the early hours with my mate "reel it in" and my brother.
started with 3 hook flapper with no bites, tide running we had a some early weed,
changed set up to a running lead with a two hook wishbone fishing with black lug tipped with squid.
8 oz lead lost grip a number of times, no real sign of bite, pulling in what i thought was a tescos carrier to find a nice codling of 4-5lb

fished to till 3.00am hoping for more, with no joy. cold night but enjoyed every minute.
"reel it in" went arse over T*t how his flask and cornish pasties made it alive i will never know. very funny to watch!
one thing i was going to ask can any one recommend a good place for bait, I live in chelmsford, bit disappointed with what i got from the local shops (no names mentioned)
