Has anyone tried this area yet? as the fish at Yarmouth have packed thier bags, curious to know where the Whiting have gone to!! maybe they have gone South as reports from there have been better

dont know where they have gone but going to try corton one day next week if i can get away just a bit further down from yarmouth

The winds forecast are not good for that far south,unless you don't mind a side wind, they should go N/W after Wednesday which will be ideal for you there, maybe the Whiting will come in after a stir up, hope so as gagging to go after a few more, I love them just fried in flour, don't understand why most won't eat them as they are,as they have the same amount of bones as Cod or Bass

hi guys fished caister last night from 7-10 caught 3 smoothound and lots of whyting good fun but nothing sizeable mostly coming from south yarmouth beach hope this helps

Good news for me, going to dig some Yellow tails today and will give it a go there Wed night, will try with some Mack on one rod and worm the other,the wind should ease by then as don't fancy having my gear sandblasted

I will taking the caravan down to North Walsham In two weeks time and the gear, I used to live at Caister some 40 years ago so I will have to give it a go. might have changed a bit since then???

Looking out to sea has deffo changed, there's a windfarm and the outer harbour can be seen at night, lots of pretty lights
