[Fish on Rogers]

Caught off Porthcawl (shore) yesterday (7th March) by my brother in law.. Looks like a Burbot?? Found something on Google which I'll attach,, looks like a burbot to me.. Otherwise known as fresh water cod, which is ling family situated in canada! Predominantly a fresh water species that only wander to the alaskan coastal waters from time to time to spawn in sand... Any help appreciated

No problem , there is a smoother coloured version called a Shore Rockling - this is one I caught at Rinsey , Cornwall in December .
