Anyone heard how the two blokes who went over at Limeslade yesterday afternoon are?
One looked like he was well knocked about and was airlifted out by the Sea King and I heard the other was ambulanced out with a stuffing great hook through his foot!

don't know how they are but heard the drama over the radio. Well done to the oystercat crew for their part in the rescue.

I would suggest it goes a lot deeper than wearing life jackets, more often than not a complete lack of seaman ship puts the boat into a dangerous situation. At a guess they were in far to close to the rock face because a swell does not capsize boats, however a wave created by the swell hitting the cliffs can be very dangerous.

All to often now days lack of proper equipment is blamed for all sorts of accidents occurring on the land and sea, when the bottom line is people putting themselves well beyond safe enjoyment.
